Background: Part of University of California, San Francisco's Biochemistry and Biophysics department, the Stroud Lab seeks to understand molecular mechanisms of certain key biological processes, as well as signal transduction between processes at the level of protein structure, dynamics, and mechanism. With a wealth of publications and crystal structure images, UCSF's Stroud Lab web site was in need of reorganization and a new look. The site was again redesigned in 2006.

Solution: The new design is organized and easy to navigate. The clean lines and cool colors keep the content in an concise structure—a layout appropriate for the subject.
